Practice focus
Commercial trucking dominates his practice: 18-wheeler collisions, unsafe lane changes, cargo and equipment failures, FMCSA and OSHA violations, and driver qualification failures. He also handles construction site injuries, oilfield and pipeline incidents, and motor vehicle wrecks. His cases tend to turn on technical proof rather than testimony, brake inspection records, driver logs, reconstruction data, and safety compliance files.
Notable results
His verdicts and settlements run from $1.5 million to $49 million across motor vehicle, commercial trucking, and industrial cases. The largest came when an impaired driver in a stolen vehicle went the wrong way and hit his client head-on, breaking multiple bones and causing a brain injury. The second came when an industrial plant ignored its own safety protocols and triggered an explosion, leaving his client with catastrophic burns, broken bones, a spinal injury, and lasting mental anguish.
Background
Before law school he earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology from Louisiana Tech University and went to work in the oilfield, where he held a CDL. That is not a biographical footnote. It means he already knows how the equipment operates, how safety systems fail, and what the day actually looks like for the crew, and he can read the engineering documents that decide liability in trucking and industrial cases rather than wait for an expert to explain them. He graduated cum laude from Mississippi College School of Law in 2018.
Honors and recognition
TopVerdict recognised him with the No. 1 Personal Injury Verdict in Louisiana for 2023, along with multiple top-10 and top-100 verdict rankings nationally. He is a member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 and has been selected to Super Lawyers Rising Stars.
